directions to showgrounds:  From Santa Cruz, take Graham Hill Road north 2 miles, just past Sims Road, and turn left into the main entrance gate. From Hwy 17 southbound, take Sims Road exit, make an immediate left onto LaMadrona, then a right on Sims Road (at the stop sign). Drive to the end of Sims Road and turn right on Graham Hill Road. Continue on about 500 feet to the Showgrounds Gate on the left.

This is the one and only club sponsored horse show this year! Don't miss the FUN! 
Note to particpants: TWH = Tenessee Walking Horse

General Feed & Seed is organizing a fashion show for after the Show on Saturday. This promises to be a lot of fun! See the latest, greatest equestrian fashions and accessories. Don’t be surprised if dressed up doggies join the models on the runway! Come ready to shop! Our club will receive a percentage of the sales.

6/7 SHOWGROUNDS WORKDATE – Last of 3 workdays dedicated to member volunteers. 10 AM - 2 PM.  Some or all of the day's volunteer efforts will be devoted to trail work in Cowell in dedication to National Trails Day.

 4-H - Sunday afternoon 3-5 pm - In Large Arena
6/21 SCCHA CLUB  POKER RIDE in Swanton - Our anual Club Ride on beautiful, private land near the ocean. This year, we're making it a Poker Ride. We ride out at at 10 a.m. Cover charge $10 plus optional $5 per hand + $1 for each extra card.  Friends welcome. See Flyer for all Details

7/12 INTRODUCTION TO ENDURANCE RIDING - Educational Seminar and Simulated Endurance Ride
Presenters include Endurance Hall of Fame members and local endurance legends, Julie Suhr, Maryben Stover, Becky Glaser and Junior Rider Ildico Nadasdy
Includes simulated endurance ride, pre-ride check, light lunch and informative presentattions. SCCHA sponsored clinic is only $35! See Clinic Flyer

7/12-16 Bay Area Savvy Players – Renting portions of the grounds Fri. thru Wed.
Some staging and paddocks will be available for members, but grounds will be busy!
7/18-20 Pony Club Camp Rally - Entire grounds and paddocks busy these dates, but members will have room to stage their rigs.
8/2 FIREWORKS ENDURANCE RIDE - Ride take place Saturday; grounds busy Thursday afternoon through Sunday noon.
