Any Motorola - Good. On whatever system it was
made for (I saw a old email about older StarTac's and a recall - fliping-out
(no pun intended), overheating, etc...)... I have replaced
my Qualcom QCP-860 with a Motorola TimePort
P8767 (see my review).
Usually any Nokia- Usually good. On whatever
system it was made for (I had a problems with older firmware on Cell One
(AT&T) while roaming (problem with 6162, and I've heard there
may be some problems with the CDMA type (51/61xx), local GTE wont allow
them on there Network?) Update
Verizon now has a NEW 5185i (can't be manually switched to AMPS (Analog,
or back to Digital? And if phone lose signal, it can't go to sleep
(standby mode) like all others do when thare is no service, so it eats
up the battery in several hours?).
Sony CM-500 or Qualcomm 800 (vary old CDMA phone) - Good...
Audiovox 9000, I think Consumers Reports, rated - Good...
LGC-330w - ok...
