The 1998 Beatles Blowout!
On May 2nd, the first (hopefully annual) Beatles Blowout was held in Campbell, California. A group of Musician friends with a common love for Beatles music planned, rehearsed, and organized the event, and approximately 60 of our friends and family members joined us. We called ourselves YELLOW MATTER CUSTARD for the evening. Many of us dressed as our favorite Beatle, Beatle song, film character, etc. (I came as Paul circa January 1969). In addition to music, there was trivia, prizes, snacks, and Jimmy's famous Dr. Smith impersonation. A splendid time was had by all!

Yellow Matter Custard performs Back in the USSR. Left to right: Jeff, Jimmy, Bob C., Eric, Rich, Bob V. (I didn't play on this song- only one bass player at a time, you know.)
