My friend Jeff and I drove over 3 hours to get to Konocti Harbor, but boy was it worth it! We had front row tables to see Ringo and his All Starr Band! Although the show seemed to get off to a somewhat tepid start, both the band and the audience heated up when Gary Brooker kicked off Whiskey Train. It took Ringo a few songs to warm up, but he joked with the audience "Good evening...where am I, er, Santa Rosa? Konocti! Wherever that is?". Twice, he responded to people who put album covers on the stage for him to sign saying " Ive already got that one" and "Im working!". Once, he looked right at Jeff and I, with our cameras poised, and said "Well, take your pictures!". Jack and Todd brought the audience to their feet more than once, especially on the Cream tunes. If anyone out there has audio or video of this show, please contact me! Check back later, I should have more photos up, as we took almost 100 pictures!
