He was a - smilin' and a-smirkin', a-sneerin' and a-snarlin', a-posin' and a-prancin'. Bob Dylan made more downright goofy faces during his show at the San Jose Arena than I have seen in all the photos, videos, etc. of him previously. The famously sober, often grumpy Rock and Roll legend was (for Dylan) extremely animated, and seemed to be having a great time during his 90 minute set. The band was tight, and even songs that aren' t particular favorites of mine, such as Silvio, rocked the house.
